    Dylan McDermott presented with “Honorary Trial Lawyer” by Charles DeStefano
    On May 13th, 2014 I presented the actor, Dylan McDermott, with a plaque from Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association which awarded him the title of “Honorary Trial Lawyer” in acknowledgement of his positive portrayal of lawyers in both film and television.Dylan portrayed trial lawyer “Bobby Donnell” in the hit TV show “The Practice” from 1997 to 2004. He also played the part of Santa Claus’  lawyer in the re-make of “Miracle on 34th Street,” (the latter in which he successfully proves that Santa Claus is real!).

    (Disclosure: He and I have been close friends since attending Fordham in the 1980s.  He still privately regrets [with a WINK] that he didnt be come a REAL versus TV lawyer!].
