Today I will be attending a court mandated mediation in Supreme Court, New York County (Manhattan). This is a fantastic program set up by the Administrative Judge in that county. It allows attorneys (at no extra charge to their clients) to discuss the claim and potentially resolve it.
I have prepared all of the client’s medical records, my investigator’s report, photos, etc. in anticipation of persuading my adversary (the other side!) to fairly compensate my client (and then some!).
This is a typical day for me – and I totally enjoy being in the thick of it to help my clients.
